ON Wednesday, May 12, four drama students from Years 9, 10 and 11 at St Joseph's, Aberdeen, attended the annual Theatre Sports competition at St Catherine's College, Singleton.

Theatre Sports is a team-based competition based on improvised drama games. Seconds before they perform, teams are told what ``challenge" or event they will be competing in and any other information they will need to complete their task.

At Singleton, teams were judged on one to 10 scale by three judges on three basic criteria. The judging criteria included essential variables, such as the scene being well-organised with a beginning, middle, and end; and that all members of the team worked well together in the performance.

The Year 10 team from St Joseph's came away with first place in its division.
