HUNTER Valley detectives are investigating the death of a 39-year-old Aberdeen woman at Muswellbrook yesterday.

The woman died at a home in Coolibah Close, Muswellbrook, after attending a nearby party.

Ambulance officers went to the home about 12.20am after receiving a triple '0' call from a relative of the woman. She was pronounced dead at the scene and taken to Muswellbrook Hospital.

A police media spokeswoman said detectives were investigating all lines of inquiry as a cause of death had not been determined.
